Ride and Taste Your Way Through the Heart of Oregon’s Wine Country Sundays in August
Cyclists of all levels are invited to gather at Eola Hills Wine Cellars Sunday mornings during the month of August to enjoy an invigorating group ride through the Willamette Valley wine country. You should know that this this isn’t just any ordinary ride. Experienced guides including Eola Hills founder, Tom Huggins, lead cyclists along back roads with stops at various vineyards, depending on the day’s route. In addition, support vehicles provide technical and courtesy support and will even pick up the wines ordered by the cyclists at the participating wineries, and deliver them back to Eola Hills.
What better way is there for travelers see the heart of Oregon’s wine country? Eola Hills Wine Cellars is about 15 minutes west of Salem on Hwy 99W in Rickreall. All rides start at 8am. The $75 registration fee covers a BBQ at Eola Hills at the end of the ride and ride support. The event is open to all levels of riders, with ride options varying from 45 to 70 miles.
The route varies each weekend. For dates, route information and ticket info, please visit www.eolahillswinery.com or call 1-800-291-6730.
