Cassandra, a nine year veteran of The Grand Hotel in Salem, works tirelessly to support and help lead the Grand Hotel in Salem team to provide outstanding service to keep our wonderful guests returning. She begins her day by arriving between 6:30-7am with an open mind and ready for whatever the day has in store for her. “I love my job! Our guests truly are amazing,” she says. “There is no one day that is the same.”
When asked what makes guest services at The Grand Hotel in Salem different from the rest, she enthusiastically replied, “OUR STAFF! They are fantastic! They enjoy their jobs and take pride in providing excellent customer service with a smile.”
One of her favorite experiences is interacting with returning guests like the families of Willamette University students who are regulars at the hotel over the course of their children’s collage journey. “We meet the most wonderful people. Sometimes we may only get the pleasure of seeing them once and sometimes we get the privilege of seeing them every week/month. We build such great relationships with many of our guests,” she says. “..the best feeling is when a one them says to me ‘I know you guys will always take such great care of me'”.
