Grand Hotel Salem Recognized for Hospitality Excellence


For the 6th consecutive year, The Grand Hotel in Salem has been recognized for hospitality excellence with a Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor® reviewers. The achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year.

Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.

“To be recognized for superior service on one of the most trusted travel sites in the world for six consecutive years is tremendous,” says Vips Vice President, Greg McManus. “It’s a real testament of the ‘Grand’ experience travelers can expect to have in our hotel.”

The award is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor®. To qualify, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.

In 2015, the Grand Hotel in Salem and The Grand Hotel at Bridgeport were both awarded the TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame award, a distinction given only to businesses in the hospitality industry that have earned a Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years or more.
